hi people! i'm currently working on a pre-christmas article. patulong naman...

just answer the question i had in the title. what distinguishes a filipino xmas season from that of other country's? please don't forget to include your name, age and profession.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN PINAS ON A XMAS SEASON?

i'll be sending a small gift to somebody who's gonna give the best and most original answer. tnx!

longest Christmas celebration(september to january (three kings)). upon the onset of -ber months, or september, christmas lights and decorations are already displayed, christmas bazaars, caroling by street children (either sa bus, jeep, or kakalibitin ka habang naghihintay ng masasakyan). christmas countdown through radio and television, much awaited christmas bonus. tania,23, research analyst *i'll add more as soon as may maisip pa ako

christmas lantern made of straw, and native materials such as banig. since, its an awaited event, most of the households secure to it that they'll have food served for noche buena, even at the expense of incurring debt. the rush to collect newly-produced bills for aguinaldo, that even the banks ensure to it there are adequate supply of 20's, 50's and 100's.

lahat ng tao may bago (exag lang po), dahil sa christmas parties, sa schools, sa office, etc. puto bumbong ang bibingka stalls near catholic churches. fully booked na flights locally at internationally (to the philippines) dahil (ideally speaking) kailangan magkakasama ang pamilya. mas justified ang mamalimos, humingi ng donation, etc, dahil mas generous ang mga tao kasi nga panahon ng kapaskuhan, aside from the fact na may pera lang din talaga sila dahil sa xmas bonus. most of the products (groceries, etc) also comes in their special xmas packages edition.

You know you're in the Philippines during the Christmas season when a lot of people are already awake at 4 or 5 in the morning.
